    What is one of the most popular tourist destinations in your country.Why do you think so many people visit this site every year?

    Cartagena de Indias, which is located on the Pacific Coast of Colombia, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in my country. Cartagena is surrounded by the Caribbean Ocean, where you can visit many beautiful beaches. All beaches are safe for swimming without unusual waves or strong currents. My favorite beach is Playa Blanca. With its blue and green water and white sand, it is the most popular for tourists. Another beach is Islas del Rosario, where you can snorkel, swim, scuba dive and visit the aquarium. Cartagena is also famous for colonial architecture and its colonial sites, for example you can visit Castillo San Felipe de Bargas, which was one of the biggest military buildings in the world at the time it was built in 1936. The Gold Museum, where you can appreciate a big collection of gold and precolombian ceramics, is very famous. I think Cartagena is not only attractive because of its beautiful beaches and prehistoric sites, but also because of a lot of excitement on its beaches and streets. You can find live entertainment such as orchestras with people singing and dancing. In addition, at the beaches you can find many services at very affordable prices. For example, you can get relaxing massages, buy fresh tropical fruits, or get your hair braided, which is very popular among the tourists. Finally, people are very friendly, the hotels are elegant, and restaurants offer exotic foods. Many Americans and other tourists like Colombian destinations, as the prices are half what you would pay here in the United States.
